Kids Help Philadelphia's Animals in Need
People of all ages can make a difference in the lives of homeless animals - especially kids! We are incredibly grateful for the kind support of some very inspiring young people who have helped PAWS save lives. Through efforts all their own, they have raised money, collected supplies, and increased awareness to help Philadelphia’s homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals. We thank them for supporting animals in need and for proving that anyone with a kind heart can make a big difference.
Lizzie Penna (right, with Twinkie at PAWS’ Adoption Center), who formed her own organization, Peace for Puppies, to help homeless animals. Lizzie has held fundraisers and supply drives, and tirelessly educates friends, classmates, and her community about helping animals.
Olivia Boxer, Emma Luckman, Rogue McKinney, Olivia Gorman, Charles Watson, Elizabeth Kannon, Isabel Ginsberg, and Anna Collins, who “donated” their birthdays to PAWS, asking friends and family to make contributions to PAWS instead of birthday gifts.
